Can T Find Vst Plugin Folder
Mar 29, 2017 I managed to solve the issue by cutting + copying the VSTPlugins folder from C:/Program Files (x86) to C:/Program Files. For whatever reason they installed to the (x86) folder first and I figured I'd move the folder to the plain Program Files folder after you mentioned them being in the correct location and they popped up in the drop down, thanks for your help! So, as it stands, I can't use AmpliTube 4 at all. Not in standalone mode because it refuses to use my audio interface's native ASIO driver and not as a VST plugin because I can't find the right files to drop in my host plugins folder. When running a DAW software using the VST version of the Flux:: plugins (Cubase, Nuendo, Sonar etc.), and the plugins can’t be found find in the DAW after the installation, there may be a problem with the plug-in scanning in the DAW after installing the plug-ins. Feb 22, 2013 Ok, So I thought I was a pro.but now i'm just sad/mad I can't figure this out, I used to do the autotune vst plugin thing and I pretty much knew how to set that all up.Then I updated to windows 8 and when I did that I reinstalled mixcraft, and go put the folder where the vst is.and usually when I did that before I could just go to fx, and it would pop up there.but now it doesn't pop up at. REAPER Plugins is a bad place to install 3rd party plugins, this folder is for Reaper plugins and extensions. Search for plugins will fail if their installers create subfolders below that folder (so you have to enter all the paths in preferences) amongst other, minor problems. A good share of 'Reaper can't find my plugin' problems come from that. Check these locations outside of Zenbeats before you set your plugin directories to make sure you are setting the correct path. After you have set your VST plugin paths, press the 'Rescan All' button. It may take a few minutes to scan all your VST plugins.
You can install Audio Units plug-ins from manufacturers other than Apple to process audio in Logic Pro, GarageBand, and Final Cut Pro. Antares free vst plugins. When installed, Audio Units plug-ins appear as individual components in the Library folders on your Mac:
- In the Finder choose Go > Go to Folder, enter '/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components' into the Go to Folder field, then click Go.
- You can also check the Library in your Home folder. In the Finder choose Go > Go to Folder, enter '~/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components' into the Go to Folder field, then click Go.
Built-in effects and instruments included with Apple apps like Logic Pro, GarageBand, MainStage, and Final Cut Pro don't appear in the Library folders and can't be removed manually.

Guys,As a total newbie to Mixcraft 8 I watched all the videos on the official channel and I have learned a lot how to use the program but there is one thing that I am not sure about at present.
How do you scan your plugins in Mixcraft? What folder does your plug ins reside in?
I have Sonar X3 in my system and the plug ins for that reside in a folder called Cakewalk/Vst/Plugins. Something like that.
Sonar automatically creates this folder when you install it. You don't have to use it of course but I do. All your plugins reside in that folder unless you chose to assign them to another folder.
